The force behind

Final Cut Pro making me wait

It’s Saturday. I have been all day in front of the computer doing editing for a last minute video job that I shot yesterday. To be able to do that job I had to push back 25 product shots that have to ready for early Monday morning. As I finish this editing I have to start preparing all the product shots that will probably take my whole Sunday away.

So while the computer is rendering the color grading on the video I took a shower to relax and free my mind for a while and suddenly I realized how lucky I am. Even though all the weekend working, the late hours and the cold while shooting on the mountains I love my job. This job has many perks but I just love what I do and couldn’t think of a better way to make a living. That love for photography and creating new images is the force that drives me everyday and keeps me trying new stuff and learning as much as I can.

I really don’t know the reason behind all this ranting. Specially if I think about all the things I have to be doing right now. I am feeling I have to let this out and share it with the world. I’d like to encourage all of you to find what you love and pursue it no matter what.

We spend a big part of our lives working, isn’t it worth it to find something we love?
