I’m not a big fan of shooting still life photography but in my daily work I have to do it quite often. A few issues ago the editors at BIKE decided to make a new section called Túnel del Tiempo (Time Tunnel) which I really enjoy preparing and shooting. The idea for the section is to feature an old product from a brand and a similar product from nowadays (and same brand) to compare the evolution. We wanted to shoot the products against a dark background and selective lighting to give more interest to the products and photo. The section takes a double spread in the mag and looks gorgeous. This one I’m showing here is from issue 238. The bikes are two Cannondales, the Delta V1000 from 1992 and the Jekyll Carbon 2 from 2012. It’s amazing the evolution bikes have had in 20 years…
